Title: software control of CW remoterig
Post by: K5WK Ken on 2013-05-19, 19:16:00
I am wondering if there is a way to allow software (for example Windwarbler of DXLABS, or n1mm) to key the RRC-1258 for CW operation.
I have a K3 setup.

yes there are several ways to do the CW keying. Easisest is to do it via USB, you can use a virtual comport status signal, or you can use the Winkeyer emulation.

Ken

I posted a message several months back on how I set up my station to use N1MM to key CW/RTTY using the Remote Rig setup.  It should be easy to find in the listing.  My way is certainly not the only way, but it worked for me.
