I'm getting my setup really dialed in well. I have 2 more weeks before I lock it up and I won't see it from mid October till mid April.
The very simple requests are:
1) Can the disconnect tones be disabled? The melody that is repeated 3 times should you loose connect with the far end? The reason I ask is that it is loud and if it happens late at night, it can wake up those that don't want to be woken (happened while I was working CW).
2) In the case of the TS480 (maybe other radios as well), can we have the radio turn off, but the IP connection stay active? I use the serial ports for some remote battery monitoring of my remote base.
Other than that, no complaints.
