Configuration, RRC 1258 / Re: ts 480 not transmitting

I am also in a similar situation.
When I press PTT, up to RRC-1258 is recognized as transmitting, but the TS-480 does not enter the transmitting state and remains receiving.
If you connect the microphone directly to the TS-480, it will be able to transmit normally.
From this, it can be seen that this is an anomaly in RRC-1258.
However, if the condition suddenly developed and two other people besides me were experiencing the same symptoms, there must be some fatal cause, so I would like to find out the cause.

In addition, when I output the settings from the RRC-1258 where the error occurred and replaced it with the one that input the settings to another RRC-1258, I was able to use it normally.
Is it some kind of hardware problem?

The status after restoration is as follows.
Press and hold the reset button to perform a factory reset. I immediately performed another factory reset, reinstalled the firmware, and then unplugged the power for about an hour.

I don't know which one worked, but I couldn't recover with just one factory reset, so I'll post it here just in case.

Before both RRC1258s went bad, there was a phenomenon where it became difficult to connect to the network. I felt like if I turned off the power and then turned it back on, things would go back to normal, but I started noticing that once every three months, then once a month, and then once a week, the intervals at which I had to turn off the power became shorter. I have a personal experience with it.

Not recently, but for about 3 years now, Nano has been unable to connect.
I purchased a paid app for the IC-7100 and TS-480 and was able to use it for a while, but when the coronavirus started to spread, when I tried to connect, it was connected to the network (the radio was turned on) but No voice or control whatsoever. I can't use either application.
My friend also purchased a separate application to remotely control my radio, but it stopped working around the same time.
Around that time, I contacted them via email, but I didn't hear back from them, so I left it alone, but since a failure occurred in another case, I remembered it and would like to write about it here.
I definitely want a reply.

I can no longer connect to two controls.
When the control is connected to a normal LAN and the power is turned on, the LED usually lights up several times before turning on and allowing access, but there is a phenomenon where the LED keeps blinking forever.

I tried resetting the device and reinstalling the latest firmware just to be sure, but the symptoms persist.
When displayed in Setup Manager, the serial and MAC address are displayed, but the IP address etc. are displayed as "0.0.0.0". There is a possibility that the LAN cable has deteriorated, but it is the same even if it is new.

Although they were used in different environments, it seems that both failures were related to Ethernet. I would like to know what measures are effective for this.

I was using 3 controllers, but now I only have one left. I'm worried that it will break soon.

Basically, remote technology of RRC-1258mkII great.

But new problem has occurred. Also I want help.

I got the same feeling on which the direct manipulation.

But there is a problem if have connected via the Internet.

1. Audio cuts out many times on the way.
2. Suddenly shut down.

Line is the same even in the optical line not only 3G & LTE.
I have moved the RRC-1258mkII RADIO a different house, but was the same.

My RRC-1258mkII is the same as setting the sample settings.
If you want to remotely via the Internet, whether there is a need to change the item?

Ff the IC-706 can be controlled but the display do not light up, it's beacuse the data signal from the radio to the front panel is not comming trough. Probably caused by a bad soldering in the OPC- cable or a bad red strap in one of the RRC:. s Check with an ohm meter that the red straps LRXD is not broken in one of the units.

And have gotten as answer above, connection confirmation of the strap part was done in ohms meter. The result is good.

I was able to confirm is surely electrical connection from the strap to the end of the OPC-581.

Still results because it does not change, I think you want to the foundation internal electrification verification from the strap.

Electrification verification of LRXD I would like you to tell me whether it is sufficient is can energized to which parts in the printed wiring board.
For example, if it is connected to pin 8 of the Ethernet connector OK.

Hi mike.

All connections of the strap was able to confirm with the ohm meter.
It is in relation to remodeling cable OPC-581, but I think that it is no problem it is possible to use it without a problem if you have to connect the body and the front panel directly in the OPC-581 remodeling cable.
