My internet provider told me that they can not provide me with an external public IP address as all their IP addresses are now IPv6 generated. It would not help even if they gave me my old modem back. They can only give me a private internal IP address, but I assume that will not help?

Help my Cable provider replaced my router and the new router has the IPv6 platform. I can not connect to my radio. Mitch DJ0QN posted that setting up a VPN is a possible solution. Can anyone help me out  with that? I have no idea where to begin. I guess in the future this will become a big issue as my cable provider told me they are replacing all their modems with this technology going forward.

Guys I need to downgrade to 2.80. I am running 2.85 now. Can I just download the file for 2.80 and install the file  using the Setup manger over my version?
