does anyone have a clue?

I have tried to increase "UDP cmd min-data-size" to 99 but no improvement

this is the whole communication I had with Microbit:

Dear Mikael,
Unfortunately, the control unit of my RRC-1258MkIIs seems to be faulty.
The internal keyer always generates "dots" regardless of which paddle (left/right) is being pressed (always "dashes", if the "reverse" option is selected).
I have even tried to connect directly the I/O contacts on the RJ-45 connector:
-  grounding #4 works as straight key as expected,
- grounding #1 generates  dots as expected
- grounding #2 does NOT generate dashes.

I have inspected the PCB under the microscope and I couldn't spot any evident defect or short.

Is there any other test / inspection I can do to confirm an Hardware failure? Maybe measuring the resistance of #2 to GND ?
If so, how shall I proceed for repairing?

-----
I can't remeber hearing before that a paddle input have stopped
woriking, sometimes the opposit happens when suffer ESD  the protection
diod D11 or D13 ( manual page 233) get broken and make short circiuit to
GND which make the unit to send dits or dah all the time

in this case the DT1 or DT2 may have been hit and broken if not the CPU
it self

HI,
I had once the same issue and the protection diodes had to be replaced.
See this 3D:

Hi
I have the following issue with my remote TS-480:
when TXing in CW the first 1 or 2 characters are corrupted but then it works fine for the rest of the passage. Next passage, again: first 1 or 2 characters corrupted, then fine.
I am able to test the behaviour only in 80m, where I can RX my own signal on the control site but other OMs on the radio site have confirmed the issue on other bands too.
I would  almost certainly exclude an RFI issue and I would rather say it has to do with some buffer but I have already set buffer size, jitter and delays to the max value almost

I have the following settings:

Control Site (cable connection):
Rx jitter buffer size   16
Rx jitter delay   15
Audio packet size (ms)   40
RTP tx mode   1
....
UDP cmd min-data-size   10
....
Lf delay ms [0-500]   400
Key delay ms [0-250]   200

Radio Site (WiFi connection to fiber router):
Rx jitter buffer size   16
Rx jitter delay   15
Audio packet size (ms)   40
RTP tx mode   1
Disable audio tones   0

The typical ping time is 50ms

Even if annoying, I can still live with this issue in normal QSOs but it is almost impossible to work DX stations or contests.
I haven't been able to find any similar 3D in the forum. Any suggestion?

I have tried even the I/O-connector now: grounding #4 works as straight key, #1 generated dots but grounding #2 nothing happens. Is it a confirmation that something is faulty? How can be repaired (my RRC is just a few weeks old).

The internal keyer of my RRC seems to be faulty. It always generates dashes (or dots if the reverse option is selected) regardless of which paddle (left/right) is being pressed. A factory reset hasn't helped.  Since it was fine till now I rather suspect a hardware failure >:( : is it any way to verify it?
I haven't tried to use the I/O plug yet, I am going to prepare a cable later on.

Hi
Since at my remote location is almost impossible to get a public IP, I am trying to use a VPN service.
The IPstatico.org service offers to each user (over openVPN) a static IP and 32 ports that can be configured to be forwarded to the RRC.
I have configured the router to forward the ports assigned to me to the RRC ports, e.g.:
Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: myport xxxx1 --> RRC Local IP: RRC port 80
Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: myport xxxx2 --> RRC Local IP: RRC port 13000
Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: myport xxxx3 --> RRC Local IP: RRC port 13001
Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: myport xxxx4 --> RRC Local IP: RRC port 13002

Now I can infact reach the WEB interface from the outside.  Anyway, it seems the 2  RRCs cannot communicate to each other on  ports 13000-13002. In the Advenced settings (control side) I have indicated the static IP and the xxxc2-xxxx4 as  new SIP, RTP and DATA  ports but it doesn't work....

any idea?
