hello Mike

Ubiquiti link is very hard to maintain (6 antennas).

Do you know if Starlink Business plan will work?

thanks

Starlink use CGN so it cannot be used at the Radio-site without using VPN. I have seen people overcome CGN with special routers using Zerotier VPN, but it's notning that I have tested. I would have stayed with the UBNT links

Configuration of Routers, Firewalls, etc / STARLINK PERSONAL & K3/0 Mini
« Last post by cx6vm on 2025-01-15, 16:36:52 »
Hello

for many years I have a pair of RRC 1258 boxes workng with a K3/100 on the radio site and a K3/ mini on the control side, all working perfectly

The internet on the radio site, is from a link with Ubiquiti antennas from my home, so I am in the same network

NOW I change the ubiquiti link with a Starlink antenna, PERSONAL PLAN, at the radio site.

What type of routers or other hardware I need to have the remote working with the Starlink PERSONAL PLAN at the radio site and the local internet at home?

I have no idea of networks or VPN. But the locals guys that do these work don´t have idea of amateur radio, so what I need to tell him so he can figure out what hardware I need to buy or what he need to setup?

thanks in advance!!

I think I have solved the problem now. 900 CW qsos worked in January with no problem.
In Control RRC Serial settings I had Com3 (Extra)  mode (USB -COMFSK) set to mode 10 Baudot-RTTY and operated N1MM via another virtual port.
Chang to mode 10 Winkeyer and CW sounds perfect.
I guess I have to switch back and fort to operated RTTY .

General discussion forum / RFI when using SO2R
« Last post by W1UE on 2025-01-09, 12:59:41 »
We have an SO2R station set up using two RRC setups.  Up to several months ago, it was working FB.  Now, everytime we try to use it, particularly on 15m, one can hear the audio on the non-transmitting rig go up and down.  For FT modes, few if any decodes.  We've racked our brains, and have yet to come up with a solution.  We think its a problem with the Internet, but not sure how to test it.  Thanks for any help.  Dennis W1UE
