Elecraft K3 Twin and RRC Micro?

I have the Electraft K3 Twin products and about the set them up.

When I'm "on the road" I want to use the RRC Micro with HRD to control my K3 on the remote site. Will it "just work" or do I need to change anything in the set-up?

No, you do not need to change anything when connecting from the RRC-Micro. The RRC will automatically make some temporary change of settings during the time the RRC-Micro is connected. ( audio quality for example)
