IC-7100 TX monitor?
« on: 2013-09-21, 16:07:59 »
Hi,

Should TX Monitor work in remote via the RRC's?

I've always understod they are full duplex capable.
Or is audio muted in the control RRC?

Yes you can use tx-monitor for test, but not in real qsos because the tx monitor audio will be delayed twice the intenet latency plus the buffer sizes. But to test you can set full duplex = yes in control-RRC and RTP tx mode = continouos in Radio-RRC

Latency? What latency?
Using Remoterig I simply forgot there is any latency! :-)

Yes, perfectly clear Mike. Just needed some testing.
IC-7100 also lets you make TX recordings, probably even a better way than realtime monitoring.

Tnx
