RRC-1258 MK2: I need a way to disable/enable the radio RRC from a PIC controller. The method we're considering is:
Route the 12VDC power through a PIC-controlled relay, simply powering up the RRC to enable it. Doing this, there is a short delay while the RRC boots up and establishes the Ethernet connection. Using this approach, I would need to know when that is completed.
Q: Is there a signal on one of the connectors [e.g. I/O on the back] that will indicate that the deadstart is complete?
