RX audio in one headphone only

I've got receive audio in one ear only.   I don't yet know the reason and the remote is used by more than one operator so I don't want to change any menu settings.

Is it OK to just bridge the tip and ring in the plug going into the SP jack?

Hi Fred,

I have seen this caused by using an older RRC or firmware version. Is your RRC a new one? If
not, look at the bottom and tell us which hardware version you are using, as well as firmware.

I'm actually running on Wi-Fi [ATT Uverse] but I have an outboard dongle and RR thinks it's Ethernet.  I love being able to fool technology!  This isn't a big deal, while sort of deaf, my right ear is the one I use on the phone.  It's just when all the weight of the audio is on the right ear, it makes me lean to the right and my back gets sore. :-))

Others use the W7RN remote station, so I think I pretty much need to come up
with a personal solution.

Regardless of one ear, this is beginning to work really great!
