No audio on Nano
« on: 2015-11-01, 23:23:47 »
I have loaded the nano app on my phone. It controls the rig (K3) just fine.  But no audio. All the setting seem fine???

What is the "RTP/UDP audio status" on the radio RRC when you are connected?
Always include type of hard/software and version when asking for support.

Connection Status = Faulty (see below) when I try to use it with Nano app.

Connection Status = OK when I use it with my RC2000

Thanks Jan

Are you sure you have configured the correct audio port in Nano?  8)

And is the "LED" indicator in Nano green when you are attempting to connect?

The Audio Port is correct.

The LED is green. I can control my radio, but I have no audio. The same problem as K7MAC, only no audio is the problem.

Thanks Jan

I've just realized that if I continue checking the status (clicking on Status) on my Radio RRC, the status is showing sometimes "Faulty" RTP/Audio Status = Stalled and sometimes "OK" and RTP Status = Excellent, as you can see on the new attached image.

But I have no audio at all on my mobile phone...

The status you see on the RRC is for the audio sent from Nano to the RRC, not the other way. It seems audio is sent in "bursts" to the RRC and so the status shows ok sometimes and stalled/error sometimes. It indicates that the transmission speed for the mobile's Internet connection is too low. How is the phone connected to the Internet? WiFi or via the cellular network?

I'm using the same WiFi that I normally use with my RC2000 at home

And nothing else runs on the phone which uses network or other resources?

If you provide me (email/pm) with the necessary info for connecting to your radio RRC I can try to connect from here next week.
