PC Client windows 7 install/start issue

I am using a netbook with windows 7 32bit home prem ...

downloaded current client
ran install as administrator
created 3 com ports
created usb sound device with location at a long series of numbers?

launched client
got many exception errors

repeated all steps, no change..

no idea where to begin corrections, please advise as to possible fixes

Hi Mike.

We have got one more report of this problem. Exactly same behavior on a German Windows 7.
The installation has been tested on Swedish and English 32 and 64 bits Windows without those problems.
So my first question is. Do you run your Windows 7 in some other language than English?

Some more questions:

Could you give more information about what you mean by "location at a long series of numbers".

Does all those exceptions show same thing as the one you have show in the image "ComEnum_GetNumPorts"?

Open the Control Panel and select View Devices and Printers. Do you have an unspecified device there called Microbit 1274 A?
If you show the Properties/Hardware, what do you get?

I am running windows 7 english. attached are my settings. There is a second screen with errors, but it flashes by without being readable.  I believe all errors are the same.

The com ports are installed as ports 9-11. The install runs slightly differenet than the script posted on the web site. The comports are installed one at a time via a command script. they process so quickly it is not possible to follow the output.

I do have HRD Beta 5 loaded and it works well with my radio and this computer. I also have echolink, paclink, and airmail loaded.

We are working on the problem.
The first thing is the Exception with ComEnum_ etc etc.
I will rewrite that part tomorrow. I'll get back.
