1258MKII with a CW knob on remote site?
« on: 2018-06-22, 08:42:38 »

I´ve a RRCMKII-1258 with a CW knob. This modem goes on the control site. But I want to use it on the remote site.
Does it work?

No, the hardware is different and also the  functionality is depending on that the RRC are placed as they should be.

So I bought mistakenly the wrong Modem.
This is my idea.
K3 + 1258MKII on the semote site. But I run this staton on a cabin without powerline. All goes with photovoltaik so I want to run the server on the control site.
Is that possible?

I don't know what you mean by server ? The Control-RRC ( with CW-knob) should be placed at the control site and the Radio-RRC should be placed at the Radio site

I know now about the Radio RRC.
The RCForb-server Software can be placed at the control side?
