connection problem
« on: 2019-08-24, 12:51:13 »
hello,

using a TS-480S remotely for several months now without any problem.

Yesterday it started with the following problem:

After a while, it could be a couple of minutes or just a few seconds, the frequency on the display disappears. I see a line of dots instead.

At this point it let me change the filter width, NR parameters, etc, but I get no audio and cannot transmit.

When it does that, it sends a CW "UL" message.

Any idea about what it could be?

You have a network problem and it looks like the control SIP port may have a conflict.

Does the status page indicate an error when that occurs?

Hi Mitch,

I couldn't guess what the conflict is, as I have given an IP/port number to the control which is surely not used by anything else in the network.

Suddenly the problem disappeared... So hopefully it won't happen again

Hi Jorge,

I understood from you that you changed to the new mini and it never worked at all.

Anyway, I am glad to hear that all is well. Sometimes it is good to reboot both routers and RRC'S from time to time. This clears buffers and other problems that creep up over time.
