Hello all,
for what used for the USB port ??
Can be used for Internet via GSM USB stick for example too ??
Or is for an extra USB to COM adapter ??

There is no software support for the USB port today. Our intentions is to use the USB port for setting up the IP adresses etc. so we can use the com port for rotator control. / mike

Always unused for ham purpose (RRC V1)? Maybe is possible to bridge this port for RS232 data? Or it's possible to implement, with small hardware mods, a second RS232 port like new RRC V2?

Hi there,

seems like this is getting a USB-port wishlist. So if I'm allowed to continue...

I would like the USB-ports to be used for USB-tunneling similar to the serial ports. Don't know at all if the processor has enough power to handle that or if this is possible at all, but then it could be used for USB-CAT-Interfaces at the radio site....

The ARM7 CPU used in the Remoterig boxes has only "USB-device" functionality no "USB-host" functionality. So it can never be done with todays hardware
