RRC Firmware 2.81

Before I go ahead and try an upgrade, is the latest 1258 Firmware 2.81 compatible with the Elecraft 1258 Twin?

There is only one firmware for Remoterig which is compatible with all supported radios and all versions of Remoterig boxes.
