ATT USB air card at Radio Site
« on: 2010-07-20, 23:19:13 »
Can a ATT USB air card be plugged directly into the USB port of the RCC at the Radio Site?  I read the other subjects on Air Cards and it seems like a PC could be required with a USB air card?  I really don't want a separate PC at the Radio Site since it is in a remote area.

Hi

No there is always needed a router between the RRC and the USB Stick. All mayor suppliers of network equipment has that kind of  routers, Linksys, D-link, Netgear, Dovado etc.

Mike:
Yes, I see on the internet that routers that use a USB Air Card are available. I will visit my local ATT store to find out what they have!
Thanks
