Before I go to crazy here (translates to setting up the radio side, buying a Android tablet (whats a good one that works ?), then downloading and installing the app, has anyone done this procedure using a ic706, that would care to share their experience ?
Initially, Im more interested in listening at first, then working into the transmit side.
Unless I'm really missing something here, this app would take the place of the remote head ?
For casual listening or just keeping me busy when I'm out it sounds like a great thing to mess around with.
Any comments ?
