That fixed the VFO issue.  The mic issue is gone. All is good.  BTW I don't remember what version of OS I had but the mic was also stolen in a v4.x.x.

Hmm.. Then there are more 'parameters' than the Android version which defines if the mic were 'stolen' or not.
