Getting a cat 5 cable into the 1269

Well I got my 1269 and took it apart (in part) to connect the network cable and discovered the hole is too small for any Cat 5 network plug I have.  Any suggestions short of putting the wire in and then adding the plug.  May end up doing this but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something since I have been known to do that.

No, you have to either crimp a new connector to the cable or use the screew headers
