Sip error & reconfiguring (Icom R2500)

I'm puzzled by the following:

My www remote R2500 works as long as it stays on.
After a period unused it will not reconnect, giving SIP error.

When I change SIP port (for example to 5061) and reconfigure my NAT router portforwarding all works again untill switched off for a longer period.

Again and again I have to reconfigure ports and forwarding for every session,
But every time the R2500 is unused for a length of time connection is lost again.

I'm lost in a reconfiguring-loop,meaning I'm still more behind a computer than the R2500...
Access to both RRCs and router (fixed IP) is no problem.

What I did now:

-I made two port forwards for SIP 5060 and 5061 on radio side.
-I keep switching both RRC's between SIP 5060 and 5061 for every remote session with Icom R2500.

My question: what could be the reason for each port to be de-activated when its not in use?
I can't find where and why the ports are dropped all the time...

I can be wrong but it looks to me that something in your router(s) is causing this problem
(time out problem) because all other connections are ok.
Does the rig has a sleeptimer or something simular ?

Yes the R2500 has a sleep timer but would that be a problem for the RRCs?

The funny thing is that I also run a remote SDR using just 1 port (7900)
And that one always works.

The R2500 has to be re-ported for every session.

It seems like the Remoterig UDP ports are always dropped after some time and I have to assign new ports and forwarding to make it work again. These ports are not reported to be used by other services.

The webbrowsers (port 80) are always reachable though, so port 80 is fine.

It is very strange...

Yes I can switch off the sleeptimer of the Icom.

But if I switch the Icom off manually, wait 10 minutes, than I find the ports I configured in both RRCs and router don't want to connect anymore.

If I reconfigure the SIP ports in RRC to another number and forward those in the remote router all works again ( temporarily...until the next time I turn off the Icom...)

It is just as if the SIP port is first accepted, but dropped after a while of inactivity..
