Is it possible to send an sms (e.g. via SMS modem or mobilephone) if a 1-wire temperature is outside limits?

Not with current firmware. There have been requests for that from others too, so it might be added in future firmware versions.

+1 vote for e-mail notification of temperature event.

I'd also like to see e-mail notification for other events such as voltage loss/drop.
