I have my  RRC-1258 MKII  (S)  connected to a Kenwood TS480-SAT  and operating remotely to a site about 20 miles away. It was operating properly on CW and SSB for a couple months.  I had an occasional drop out or lock up but all in all I was happy with initial operations.
I don’t remember making any changes but now I have RX but no TX,  CW or SSB.
Microphone PTT gives red TX light on control head but no RF output.
In CW mode the side tone can be heard but the TX light does not light and no RF output.
I took the Kenwood control head to the remote site and tested the TS-480SAT stand alone and it works fine in CW and SSB so I believe the TS-480 to be fully operational.
Is this a port problem? Has anyone seen a problem where it can RX but not TX ?
Thanks and 73,

It's not much relation between CW and phone in the Remoterig.

No rf output in ssb can be a broken red strap, or maybe a codec gain setting which have been changed by misstake.

No cw keying . "Out 2" not set to keyer, the radio s not set in break in mode (vox) which is needed if "PTT activated by keyer" is not set to Yes
