Hi Jan and the entire Microbit team:

Just want to thank you again for your patients.
Apparently, all I had to do was drop the http:// from my DynDns host name and it fixed it.
The DNS status also changed to an actual link on the radio RRC.

A little weird about not having the http:// in front of the host but if it works right? :)

Great that you figured out what the problem was!

http:// in front of a host name is used to form an URL indicating that for ex. a web site is to be accessed by the HTTP protocol. A domain name is without a protocol specifier  ;)
Always include type of hard/software and version when asking for support.
