Hi!

I would like to control my FT2000 remotely with remoterig but without using a pc on the client side as describe on the "yaesu config".

Is possibile to have on the client side a FT857 with remoterig and on the "server" side another remoterig attached to FT2000?

The only thing that I want is to be able to change frequency with the knob vfo and to press the ptt on the mic attached to the FT857.

Hi

No it's not possible. The protocol between the 857 controlhead and the 857 radio is totaly different from from the CAT protocol of the FT-2000. There is of course a teoretical possibilty to convert the protocols in a box to match, but's it is not simple
