Hello to all the forums,

I was watching very carefully the new product: Elecraft K3 1258MkIIs Remoterig DRR-Twin.

And I was wondering out of curiosity, since the K3 uses the communication protocol Kenwood, if it were possible to manage with the same product to two Kenwood 590?  ;D

What do you think? think you can do something like that on a technical level? would be nice if you could also use the family of the Kenwood radios.  :-\

thank you very much for your advice ...  ;)

The K3 Twin do not use the Kenwood protocol, It's a special protocol only for communication between the Control radio and the Remote radio. We have got the question about TS-590 several times and I have answered that the day we can borrow two 590s we will see what can be done.

Mike,

Have you looked into doing this with two TS-2000 radios?  If that works, the TS-590 may be the same.
