Hi

There is 10uF unpolarized capacitors available but if you don't have one use a volt meter and measure the voltage over the capacitor you have there, and put the new capacitor with the positive + connection to the pin which the voltmeter showed had the higher voltage.

Hello, friends! Recently I became a happy owner of a DX-SR8 transceiver, but not for long I enjoyed it. I will not write much, briefly: the transistor in PA, Q802, failed. Did not help his replacement. 3 transistors failed. Then I bought a new PA bord, but again the same transistor Q 802 failed. I do not know what to do next ... ......

So I can only recommend to take a little more money and buy something reasonable.
I sold my Alinco DX-SR8 in those days and bought a Kenwood TS480 instead.
Everything works fine and even the remote operation with good modulation.
I have never regretted the additional investment.
