« on: 2012-08-04, 04:01:19 »
When im on the outside of my network and try to connect to my radio-rrc it doesnt want to stay connected and the rc-2000 lights up but dont see and lettering and clicks on and off. i tried the same at home using the sip contact (xxxxxxxx.ddns.remoterig.com) and it still does the same thing but when i change the sip contact to in-house to 192.168.2.228 it stays connected and works perfect . any suggestions.

Hi

your router settings are not correct so the data channel which is default set to port 12000 is not comming through the router OK. Check that the port forwarding is done correct in your router.

if you read the other post correctly it does not say it will not boot up at all. it says....it boots if usb is connected first then power is applied it will work normally.

OK

Yhen I understand, still your connection problem is caused by the router as it work on the internal LAN. Check that your router has the latest software, lot of router are shipped with really bad firmware but normally they fix the bugs later. If it still do not work, try to borrow a Linksys or Netgear and test with, they always work.

The other boot up problem is not normal, and the hardware need to be checked, when and where is it bought, can you send the pcb to us ?
