Sound card
« on: 2012-08-06, 20:45:46 »
HI
I have tried to use my laptop sound card for speaker audio and microphone instead of RRC Micro Codec/PTT dongle.

It is stated in the text of the RRC-Micro PC-client:
"Both the Mic and speaker audio can be configured-to-use audio devices other than the RRC Micro."

But when I try to connect to the radio RRC, it can not connect.
"Sound Card 1274A not found. Calls not possible!"

How can I solve it?
Or must I always have the USB/PTT dongle connected to the laptop, no matter which sound card I use?

Göran,

The PC Client software must have the "dongle" plugged into the USB port to function.

Hi! I have latest release of RRCclient software, USB dongle pluged in but I can not hear audio out, only on Microbit sound card source? Any help how to use different audio card would be more than helpful.
