RTTY + YAESU FT2000 TWIN + SIGNALINK
« on: 2013-09-25, 16:44:00 »
Hi guys!

With my previus remote config (TS480) I was able to work on PSK and RTTY, buy since IŽd changed to the Yaesu Twins Im not able to make it works.

For just checking using the DM780 I can RX but never TX.

I just followed the manual...

Also I changed the straps inside the Signalink.

Im using the SP on the RRC Control to the Speaker on the Signalink.

Someone can help?

Thanks in advance.

I just got it!

Finally Its works on PSK using the RJ45 cable from the Signalink to the RRC.

On RTTY I can see the PTT and signal but its seems to be that its doesnt work properly.
OK on RX and RTTY mode.

On my IMAC its doesnt run... using the same config from my portable PC where it runs perfect..
PRETTY STRANGE!!! :o

I am having a similar problem. I am using yaesu twin remoterig setup. Control site has FT-2000 and radio site has FTDX9000.
CW and SSB work properly. MMTTY receives properly. Problem is that when I try to transmit using MMTTY using FSK the transmitted signal is only a single tone. I would appreciate any suggestions as to the problem and how to fix it. I read that you fixed with a RJ-45 connection to the RRC.
my FSK port is working. I think that I need some physical connection from the RRC to key the FSK signal to the FRTDX-9000.
I hope that the RJ-45 connector has the FSK output port. Then perhaps I can plug it into the RTTY jack at the back of the FTDX9000. Without this connection I don't see how it keys the rig for the FSK signal. Is this what your problem was ?
thanks, Fred VE3PIE

Yes you need a wired connection for the RTTY key signal. You can select one of the 3 outputs to be used for the RTTY key signal. In the I/O connector you have all OUT0,1,2 in the PAD jack OUT1,2

Theese connection are from the Yaesu Ft2K rear pannel/RTTY and the I/O at the RRC Radio?

Thanks in advance
