New Cable modem
« on: 2016-10-19, 21:29:39 »
Had the RRC-1258 up and running for quite some time.

Today, I had to have a new cable modem installed. Now my Dad, W8JFQ, cannot access the RRC at my QTH.

It has to be the new modem.

We were using the SIP.

What are the quickest steps I need to do to get this back on line for my Dad?
Nothing has changed at his QTH.

Thanks

Bob

Bob,

I assume that the radio RRC is located where the new cable modem is.

You must configure the new modem/router with the port forwards that the RRC use, i.e. the three UDP ports and
the TCP port if forwarding the web browser port. If you don't know how to do that again, just drop me a mail to
dj0qn (at) darc.de and I will send you my networking checklist.
