Antenna switch 1289 returns mac id of ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

I have managed to assign a static IP for LAN to PC control but the router seems to not like the broadcast mac id as I can't access the switch from WiFi or outside the router. Is the Ethernet port on the switch broken?
