ICOM 7100 - Disconnect after 10 to 20 seconds - Re-Connect always works but

Good Day

I am using a RemoteRig Pair for my Icom IC-7100.

At either location, I have put them into the DMZ.

Without fail, I can connect remotely to the Transmitter. Unfortunately, also without fail, I have a disconnect after 10 to 40 seconds.

I would appreciate if somebody could help me starting the discovery process for this behaviour.

The error is - it seems - found:

I worked through the manual and say that contrary to what was mentioned there, the DNS was set to (Google DNS) 8.8.8.8.

After I reset it to the standard 192.168.1.1, there were no more disconnects...

Well, at least one more lesson learned!
