RRC-1258 set with Kenwood TM-V71

Hello,
I have a problem with my setup.
I have connected Display and remote Rig with the RRC's and all are working perfectly. But not ...All
Only PTT is not working and can not find why???
For your info the sets are connected only in internal network without external ports etc.
When I do PTT on both Dashboards I check status and the PTT status change to ON. So i think cables and communication is all right?
I checked jumpers at remote and seem that all are according to the manual.

So why is not transmitting?
All other function work perfectly and RX works as should.
I have also attached the settings from both units if it helps...

Waiting for some help. Hope its something simple and stupid from my site hihi..

Hi

If both units indicate PTT the only thing that can be a problem is the red straps in the radio unit ( wrong place or broken) or the cable from mic/aux to the radio.

Ok thank U for the reply.
According to manual page 198 the cable connects at RRC in TTL and not AUX/MIC.
Am i missing something???
Please have in mind that all other functions work except the transmission..

Confirm please where must I look.

Yes but you should also have cable K16c connected from mic/aux jack to the radio Mic jack, that's where the mic and ptt signals are routed, You can use the black 0.5m CAT cable supplied with the Remoterig set
