PTT error if 12v lost at RRC Radio Unit - K3
« on: 2019-11-24, 20:07:20 »
Hello all

see yesterday a new "bug" .
If my RRC Radio lost the 12V my K3 switch to TX if the radio is one.
I have the last firmware 2.95 inside the Unit.

PTT come over teh PTT IN RCA not via RS232 CAT.

any Idea ?

Hi

It's not firmware related. Since it's transistor which key the radio, the resistance will be low enough to key the Radio when the RRC has no 12V. You can put a opto coupler in between if it's a problem. Probably a serial resistor is enough.
