In orden to avoid pcb removal, I think we can use this TTL to RS232 converter with max232 included

Could we?

Many thanks Mike

We need to bring or feed 3.3v to the converter.      Have a 5v in pin 6.
Monday, we receive material.
I hope this post, help more people

We have tried both. Neither works. Neither install max, nor complete part.
Hopeless. Sorry. Are there any other ideas? For mini usb we can not enter the RRC?
no work. No is ok.

After trying with the TTL to RS-232 converter, nothing works....No way. We have try even directly to the computer, without success....

After that, we have made the modification on the PCB, and after switching on, the newly installed MAX232 got really really hot.....

At the moment, rotator only works using the mini usb conector on the Rotator Control.

We are wondering if we can convert the COM1 RS-232 to USB and then use the cable that is working now....

We need sone help

Hi

if you do like I said from beginging it works, I have also seen instructions from Prosistel saying the same.

You can never convert a serial port to USB, all converters are USB to serial.

Notification Prosistel.  Adjunto at post.  Is a pdf reader.

We have worked with the prosistel Todo works manual, ts-2000 and rotor via RRC.
We had to change 2 and 3 on the remote, that is, null cable. I hope this post is helpful to potential visitors.
Many thanks to those who helped us. Very thankful. EA5ZJ Jordi.

Perfect that they have made instructions, I had not seen that before. I just saw an email that another customer got with part of the info

I will put a link on the Remoterig site to the instructions
