Losing connection on internal wired network
« on: 2021-08-19, 21:55:59 »
I have my RRC Control and RRC Radio on the same internal wired network. Both are plugged in to the same router. Periodically they are losing connection and eventually reconnect. The RRC Radio has a fixed IP and the RRC Control is DHCP

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Thanks

Hi
it should never disconnect on LAN. Try with an ordinary switch.

Mike -

By "try with an ordinary switch" do you mean plug them both into the same switch instead of the router? Presumably the switch needs to be connected to the router in order for IPs to be assigned.

Thanks

PROBLEM FIXED:

I upgraded the firmware to 2.95 from 2.91. I changed the WebServer Port to 82 from 81 (80 is used elsewhere on my system). I changed the Telnet port back to the default of 23 from 24. I made all 3 changes at the same time so i don't know which one really fixed it, but 2 days now and no disconnects.
