Web Switch Questions
« on: 2011-05-10, 17:11:08 »
Hi All:

I'm looking at adding a 40/6M yagi down the road and I was wondering, instead of purchasing a 2 port auto tuner, would the web switch be a better choice?
Would I be able to use the Comm 1 port on my remote rig system to control the switching of the antennas?
Right now, my comm 2 port is in use along with the serial port on the back of the rig and it only has one of these.
Is there another method to controlling the web switch if it does require the serial port on the back of the rig?
Ie: using the yaesu's band data out?

You can listen only to the communication between radio and remoterig
when you connect the webswitch via a TTL-RS232 interface (1216-R)
