Setting optimizing for poor connections

I travel frequently and encounter very good, and very bad levels of internet connectivity. In most cases, dropout, latency and jitter are the greatest issues. I have researched the list archives attempting to define settings which can be manipulated to reduce performance issues caused by 'poor" internet service.

Given discussions on this forum, I have selected some of the setup parameters that may be manipulated to better tolerate internet based issues. I would be interested in learning what other forum members use for settings on these parameters. For example, Key delay ms [0-250] is defaulted to 80 in my initial setup. Recommendations on this forum have recommended using the maximum setting (240ms) for poor internet issues.

I do not have the technical expertise to understand how all the parameters below affect the RemoteRig remote station performance. Hopefully responses to this post will help me, and others.

Hi

for low bandwidth connections

Audio Quality = 0 is best and no dual RX

Increased Jitter buffer delay and jitter buffer size gives better tollerance for Jitter

Audio packet size = 40 reduce the amount of packets and  reduce overhead which may be better, not proven

Increased Key delay  is important for CW--transmission

the other settings has no influence
