Title: What means Dual-Rx ?
Post by: dl2nd on 2011-01-30, 10:46:25
Hello @all,

i want to use a Kenwood TS-2000 with RC-2000.
What means the Dual-Rx feature exactly ?
Do i need this feature for split-operations or for the audio of the two different
VFO's in the TS-2000 ?

Thank you for your answers.

Uwe

If you want to listen to the two receiver in the TS-2000 independent of each other in left and right headphone you need a RRC with Dual-RX support. But the TS-2000 also mix both audios together so a single RX RRC also works fine.

Remember when Dual-RX mode is activated the bandwidth need is doubled.
