Hello everyone. I recently bought and Icom 7100 with a pair of RemoteRig RRC-1258MkIIs. Unfortunately the Icom was damaged and never got to install and set up the 1258. While I find the way to repair the Icom, I have a Yaesu FT-991 (Non A) in the shack and I was wondering if it is possible to configure the 1258 with the 991, as it is explained in the product website. 

I can control the radio with Win4Yaesu software.

Anyone is using the 1258 with a 991 that could advise?.

Yes
you can use FT-991, see manual page 176 chapter Yaesu in General (FT-2000)
