Iīve been using Remoterig devices for long with very few problems. However now I got a strange one.
Using Firefox browser and Windows 10.

I am controlling my 1K-FA linear with RC-1216H and the rotator with Webswitch.

When using the internal webserver of the RC-1216H Firefox keeps asking "Do you want to prevent this page from creating additional dialogs". So far Iīve never said "yes". Now I did which was a mistake. The result is that the browser is no more showing the images, in other words the power meter etc.

But there is more. When I go to my Webswitch the same symptom is there, no scale showing antenna direction, no pictures.

But there is even more. Using IE has the same problem and also Apple MacBook with Safari!

Iīve been cleaning browser caches, restarting them, reading tons of instructions already witch no luck.

Any ideas how to fix? TNX!

Tnx for the message.

I think it is more about Kenwood. I have understood that Kenwood is not sending band data info out. Instead it has to be asked.
That is why JUMA is polling TS-480 in order to get the band data.

Now the band data goes nicely thought RRC when JUMA is polling it trough RRC. But the antenna switch does not get it.
As soon as I unplug JUMA, the antenna switch gets band data and it is able to do automatic switching.

So when both JUMA and antenna switch are plugged both of them seems to be polling TS-480 at the same time - and JUMA is the winner.

But I found a simple solution: I adjusted JUMAīs polling rate to be slower. Originally it was 200ms. Now when it is 1400ms everything works. In other words both JUMA and AS-1269 are following the radio and changing bands.

Anyway I still have a question: What is the polling rate of AS-1269 when it is asking the band data from Kenwood?

Hi all

I have used Remoterig products for many years and like them really.

Now I have a problem with the AS-1269 10-way antenna switch and itīs automatic antenna control feature.

My setup is the following: TS-480, RRC-1258MkIIs (ver 2.90), AS-1269 (ver 4.2) and JUMA PA1000 linear.
TS-480 is connected to RRCīs COM2 and JUMA PA1000 to RRCīs COM1. The AS-1269 connects to RRC via LAN.

RRCīs Serial settings are like this: COM1 mode is "Mode-6, CAT to COM1 (local)" and COM2 mode is "Mode-4, Kenwood, Yeasu, Elecraft".
I have also tried other combinations.

I am trying to automate the system so that both the amplifier CAT-control and the antenna switch control could work at the same time via RRC.
Now when the amp CAT control works, AS-1269 canīt automatically switch antennas and vice versa.

AS-1269 always works manually.

Any ideas how to proceed?

TNX!

Ping and also nslookup <my ddyndns name>  show the same actual IP which I then use in "SIP contact" of my ctrl box with success. That plain IP works, but the dyndns - name does not work.

Dynamic DNS status is "unknown" and DNS Status is "OK, remoterig.com = 213.180.92.20"

Configuration of Routers, Firewalls, etc / DDNS - problem
« on: 2015-12-10, 19:21:31 »
Hi all

I have two pairs of Remoterig 1258 MkIIs and have been running the first pair for about three years.

Now with the other pair I have problems connecting to the remote site. Sometimes all goes nicely but mostly not.
I think this has something to do with DDNS handling.

My setup:
- TS-480
- ADSL in control site
- Mobile 4G data in remote site
- Software 2.87 on both
- A dyndns - service

I can always connect to the web server port of my remote site over the internet using my dyndns - name. So DDNS works in general and port mapping is OK in my remote router.

When I push the power button my TS-480 usually nothing happens, just the "no connection signal" from TS-480.
But if I put the IP of my remote site to the "SIP contact" field of my Control site modem the connection is made normally.

Any ideas how to fix this casual disturbing problem?

TNX for info!
