General / RRC nano kenwood & android 7.0 is not working?
« on: 2016-11-06, 09:54:32 »
RRC nano kenwood is not working on android 7 version. It worked ok on 6.0 android version, but 7.0 upgrade broke it.

Nano client says "connected", but the audio or vfo control is not working.

Nano client version is 1.5.1 and device is android nexus n9.

Hi Ronald,

RRC Nano service BETA 2.0 works with the nexus 9 tablet, but when I disconnect and reconnect again connection does not work. It says "connected" and shows green light, but no sound or frequency on the screen. I have to kill RRC nano apps and restart to get it working again. Have any ideas for this problem?

Now I do not need to use old samsung galaxy tab! This is very important improvement 8)

I just installed nano service to Nexus 9 tablet and it is working.

I'm afraid that native android SIP stack is not enabled on Nexus 6.

I just got a Nexus 9 tablet and SIP/VoIP stack is disabled. I can not use nano software with my new tablet.

I had same problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but I installed cyanogenmod android and got SIP/voice stack enabled.

I think that native SIP/voice stack is disabled in many android based devices. Is there any workaround for this problem? Could you implement third party SIP stack to nano server and not to use native android SIP stack?

This is seems to be real issue for many nano users.

It is working ok for me.

Press mic PTT down and hold meter button down for while. Start pressing meter button and you should see alc, comp, swr, pwr functions on the screen.

Hope this helps  8)
