Probably a dumb question! Can anyone help me with the setup for WSJT-X digital modes remotely with the Kenwood TS 2000 and RC 2000 remote head?

Greetings and a belated Merry Christmas to all!

I received a Lenovo 100S laptop running Windows 10 for Christmas. I have downloaded Micobit Setup Manager and can connect to the "Control," only when the control is connected to the internet via the wifi module via my browser. I can not, however, connect to the Control via USB. Any suggestions? I'm guessing my new laptop is missing a USB driver that recognizes the RCC boxes.

Help! Help! Help!
Trying to setup my TS2000 and keep getting the flashing yellow light on RCC Control (SIP Connection Failed) when trying to turn on the 2000 with the RC 2000 remote head. I also hear an audio sound through the speaker that is the same sound one would get while dialing a number on the telephone and the number is no longer in working or disconnected.

Any suggestions?

Dumb Question! 

Could the Kenwood TM D710 remote head be used rather than the Kenwood RC-2000 remote head for use with the Kenwood TS 2000 using the RRC-1258?
