I guess I should mention that aside from my own not wanting to plug and unplug (and the attendant concerns about connector failure) there's also the XYL factor. She's not going to accept  any dangling wires.

No, I don't need RemoteRig necessarily to connect from the front to the back of the motorhome.  I would, however, need it for controlling the rig at home. So, I might as well also use it to control the rig aboard the motorhome. That would be much preferable to plugging and unplugging cables.

I'm contemplating installation in a new motorhome. I'd like to mount an IC-7100 in the back, and put the control head up front. That seems simple enough. But there's more.


I want also to be able, when I have usable internet connection (either over LTE or plugged in somewhere) to be able to control another IC-7100 at home. It's clear to me that either is feasible, but can I do both? Is there a way of readily telling the remote 1258 which radio unit to connect to?

Also, can I remotely control a Powerwerx DB-750?
