The below will require you to have a working understanding of networking... or at the very least the time and energy necessary to do some "googling."
What you'll need to do in three simplified steps (perform only AFTER your Remoterig system is already 100% working on your LAN).
A) tether your internet connection from your cell phone to your laptop.
B) share your laptop's Ethernet connection with a properly configured router.
C) take your properly configured router and hook up the Remoterig Client to it (now configure the Remoterig Client).
By the time you get around to the above three steps, you ought to have an idea of what your cell phone provider charges for tethering, so proceed at your own risk!
As an aside, I also use remote access to keep tabs on everything should the need arise for me to correct something on the Host side.
