General discussion forum / bad receive audio

I am using K3 twins here. the Audio quality is set to #3. The internet speed is 15 download and 2.5 upload. However in the evening time the audio is distorted and clicks happen when the signal is keyed. I have tried various audio quality settings. This usually will fix this problem. It won't fix it when it happens now. The strange thing is that in the early morning the audio is perfect. The internet speed is close to the same.
During the evening if i connect through a remote end connection here in the shack it is always good.

Any ideas?

General discussion forum / Remote K3 shuts off whenever Control-RRC is reset

I am not using the ACC plug on the Remote K3 for this remote link. I just want to leave the Remote K3 on all the time so it can be accessed by the Control-RRC whenever remote operation is wanted. The problem is that when the Control-RRC comes up, the first thing it does is turn off the Remote K3 making it impossible to connect. I would like to find a configuration that would allow the  Control-RRC to come up without turning off the remote K3.

Help please.
