RRC-1258 mk11 setup
« on: 2011-10-21, 20:12:08 »
The units were setup and used one year ago and then deactivated. Upon reactivation i reset all units to default. I change the IP's to match my home network IP as noted in the instructions. I am able to get into the units via web interface as mentioned in the instructions. However when i try to get the units to talk to each other i get no activation of the ts-480 and get the blinking yellow light denoting SIP failure.  I also get the alarm tone from the control head.
When i use the default IP's on the units they communicate and i can activate the 480 with all functions operating normally.
What simple step am i missing here.  HELP

Did you also change "SIP contact" in the control RRC to match the IP of the radio RRC? Which firmware version are you on?
Always include type of hard/software and version when asking for support.

Thanks Jan, later on i did read a post regarding setting the sip contact.  I changed that and it worked great. Did i miss that in the instructions?  I spent a few hours trying. So far so good.

thanks
