Audio from Flex1500/3000 using RRC1258
« on: 2019-01-13, 17:36:11 »
Hello,
I would liekt to know if anybody used the RRC1258 to remote a Flex1500/3000 for audio, CW and to use the RS232 for rotator control.
I don't want to use the audio from Teamviewer, RemAud, Skype, RemoteDesktop and so on because I had good experience with the RRC and I love to get use the RS232 for the rotator control!

Karsten:

I use my RRC with my Flex3000 with great results. I feed the audio from the Headphone jack of the 3000 to the speaker input on the RRC-Radio box. I set the straps inside for a Yaesu modular microphone.

At the control end, I am using a Heil microphone, Icom speaker and a Palm Mini Paddle.

Hello Karsten,

I also use Remoterig together with my Flex 6400. Audio and cw is way more faster than via SSDR!

Look here for some solutions on Flex Radio Community:
