I know I am close but no joy after a month of trying.

I am embarrassed but I need help I cannot seem to get my system to connect.
I can turn on the amber led on the control. The amber led will light on the radio.
Status tells me the radio is off and the PTT is off.
We setup a DNS at Microbit.
I changed the Radio port to 8000 hoping that was it and added it to the DNS IP.
We did the DMZ instead of port forwarding.
We have gone through Mitch's networking checklist.
I am sure it is pretty simple but I am beat and humbled. Hi Hi
I have some screen shots if they will help.
Anyone out there with time to give me some pointers?

One common problem with the FT-857 is that when it starts it makes a short circuit to the power supply. Even many 30A PS cannot deliver power enough so if the Radio-RRC is connected to the same PS, the Radio-RRC will reboot. And you should not add any port number to the DNS hostname in the SIP-contact field, but Mitch will take you through that Im sure.

You don't mention it, but does your unit work when wired directly?  For now, take the Internet out of the equation and connect the units directly.  You will have to temporarily replace the DNS address with an IP address, but they should connect and work.  If they won't work when connected directly, chances of them working over the Internet are next to none.

Only way to go is with both on same table/bench and then add the internet.  Good advise for start up. I made rookie mistake on final install and now only have dots in cw, yes PAD out of RRC goes to Key in on K3S, 85 mile service call tomorrow night.
